If you plan on using your Quick SoupBowl in any other configuration, other than simply with both diffusion layers, then the Beauty Dish Attachment is a "must".  Allows you more possible lighting styles / configurations (inner diffuser only for a little more contrast, etc) without the problem of the center hotspot.
