It comes with with a 50" arm with standard 5/8" studs on each end and two grip heads to hold small lights, flags, gobos, etc. The studs on each end of the arm allow you to use the stand as a small boom or to position lights at low or unusual angles. The top mounting stud is also a standard 5/8" so it also works as a regular stand. A spring loaded center section helps prevent the stand from bottoming out. The removable base features spring loaded folding legs for convenient transport.
